Billionaire businessman has just acquired a 300-year-old hotel in the city of London for one billion naira.

The new acquisition of the 80-year-old former Defence Minister is described as a 14-room inn in London.

The news is coming a few days after Bloomberg Billionaire Index revealed that the former military brass is worth 1.2 billion dollars.

Sources, while describing the hotel, said the Kings Arms Hotel is next to Hampton Court Palace, which was occupied by Henry VIII, the King of England in 1509.

To give it a face lift, Danjuma is said to have started a renovation after the launch. A room is expected to cost 250 pounds per night, our source added.

Recall Danjuma became richer in 1998 after he was awarded an oil block by the late military dictator, General Sani Abacha.

He retired from the military in 1979 to establish his own oil and shipping firm called NAL-Comet. Married to popular Edo State born politician, Senator Daisy Danjuma.
