“I remain focused as next governor of Kogi State,” says Audu.
Mustapha Mona Audu, son of the former Governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Audu, has refuted rumours milling around that he stepped down from the Kogi State gubernatorial race.
‘’There is nothing of such. I am focused on actualizing my ambition,’’ Audu re-affirmed his position.
Also commenting on the emerging talks, Kwanashie Ozotu Yahuzas, the campaign D.G (Director General) of the Prince Mustapha Mona Audu (PMMA) for Governor Campaign, dispelled the rumour, saying it was “propaganda and we tell our supporters to ignore it.”
“We do not believe in Propaganda, we believe every candidate should go to the field and sell their manifestos to the people and that is what we are doing and we believe that victory is certain.
“God willing, together in January 2020, we shall celebrate in Lugard House,” he stated
Mona, according to dependable sources, is on edge over the sitting governor, as the presidency and All Progressives Congress are solidly behind Audu to unseat Governor Yaya Bello.
