The word moral compass is often misused and not many know what it really means.  A moral compass is a person's ability to judge what is right and wrong and the ability to act accordingly.

However, the Nigerian Moral Compass is somewhat different. In our part of the world, fame and money are synonymous to owning or controlling what the moral compass will be.

Speaking of Moral Compass, Nigerian Billionaire and husband of Nollywood actress (Regina Daniels), Ned Nwoko stopped her from featuring in the sequel of the award-winning movie, 'Merry Men'.

Clearly, his Moral Compass did not find it acceptable that his much younger wife will be in a scene where she would have to kiss another actor.

The moral compass of Nigerians is put under the microscope in the ongoing scandal between the wife of Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo and the general overseer of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

In a shocking tell-all interview, Busola Dakolo revealed that the 'Man of God' raped her when she was just 16. While others are showing their support, there are others who are standing firmly behind the man of God.

Asking a rather pertinent question, how malleable is the Nigerian moral compass?
