25 passengers barely escaped death in a ghastly Lagos road accident
Over 25 persons escaped death in a road accident involving seven vehicles at Obadeyi bus stop,at Ijaiye-Ojokoro Local Council Development Area of Lagos.
A middle-aged woman while crossing the expressway lost her legs in the ghastly road accident.
However passengers of a fully-loaded 20-seater commercial bus, with registration number, APP 274XK were lucky to escape with minor scrapes and bruises.
Other vehicles involved in the road accident are, three Toyota Camry cars with registration numbers KTU911BK, BDG7600AG, and EKY215FP.
Also a pick-up van with registration number a BKD 208 XK and a space wagon with registration number LND 496 BP were involved in the horrifying pile up.
Except for an immobile cars parked nearby, reportedly the vehicles involved in the accident were coming from Sango-Toll gate axis inward Abule-Egba on the ever busy Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.
Residents said the gridlock after the accident was nothing they had experienced before. Thus they were appreciative of the intervention of the Police force, FRSC and LASTMA to ease the traffic.
