Rape Saga: New Allegation Made Against COZA Pastor

A new rape allegation has been made against COZA Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, nearly a week after Busola Dakolo revealed in a shocking interview that she was raped by the man of God.

Barely a week after Busola Dakolo opened up about being raped by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in an exclusive interview with Y! TV, another rape allegation has been made against the pastor.

In a second exclusive interview with Y! TV, a woman, whose identity is not yet known, maintained that she was raped by the pastor in 2017 in his house. She explained that her job as a COZA staff member sometimes entailed seeing Fatoyinbo and taking instructions from him to run church or even personal errands for the family.

On this particular Thursday morning, she insisted, the pastor had come into town and she was asked to go to his house to take instructions. This, of course, did not raise any red flags, as it was not the first time she was going to be in his house and she knew his family.

Describing the ordeal in the revealing interview with Chude Jideonwo, she stated, “I was there, seated on the couch, and he had started to address whatever it was he wanted to talk to me about. I think he started by addressing something that has to do with church ... things moved pretty quickly from then ... it was a long couch. I was seated on the couch and then he came and sat on the couch as well ... There was a little space. So it wasn’t like he came on directly and I was alarmed or anything ... He started trying to pull me into a hug, and then, of course, he started trying to kiss me, which I found shocking ...”

Each time she told him to stop, he kept uttering the same words “Just relax!” until he was done having his way with her. Only then did he start pleading with her that he did not mean to hurt her.

Reconciling the “amazing” pastor she had come to consider to be not just a mentor but a father figure with the same beast who had one hand up her underwear and held her to the chair with the other was hard for the woman. The rape, according to her, was the most shocking experience of her life.

Yet, shocking does not begin to describe how the rape scandal around this pastor unfolds, as this is the second rape allegation made against him in just one week and one of the many in years since the first allegation by Ese Walter in 2013.

The pastor might continue to maintain his innocence amidst the allegations flying around him, but there is no smoke without fire. One allegation might be a mistake. Two allegations - a coincidence, but three will definitely mean there is a pattern, and this is a pattern no one, let alone a “man of God”, should get away with.

In spite of his wife’s insistence on his innocence, there are reasons to believe otherwise. The woman in this interview makes it clear that both the wife and pastor are in on it together, a conclusion many have already drawn.

“I have had a lot of personal encounters with them both, enough to know that they kind of are a unit. I don’t think she is unaware. As a matter of fact, I am willing to bet my money on the fact that she is not unaware,” the woman said in the interview.

“I don’t think it was a coincidence that she was the one that pulled me in. Of course, it took me a lot of time to realize that all that time it was grooming ... But she is the one who made that happen.”
