Prince Ajibade Gbadegesin becomes the Olowo of Owo Kingdom.
Prince Ajibade Gbadegesin, from the Ogunoye ruling family, has emerged as the new Olowo of Owo, Ondo State.
The civil servant by profession was on Friday installed by the kingmakers of Owo Kingdom.
Ajibade ascended the throne after the previous Olowo, Oba Victor Olateru-Olagbegi, died in April this year, leaving the stool vacant.
Gbadegesin, the 32nd Olowo of Owo, emerged victorious out of all 19 princes who contested for the stool.
The new Oba, in his remarks after being crowned, said he would ensure that peace reigns in the town.
