Bukola Saraki made his first public appearance after leaving office at the burial ceremony of Dino Melaye’s mother.
The former Senate President, Olubukola Saraki, last weekend attended the burial ceremony of Senator Dino Melaye’s mother in Aiyetoro, Kogi State. It was his first public appearance since he left office.
The former Kwara State Governor was sighted with the likes of PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, PDP’s Vice President candidate, Peter Obi, and Senator Ike Ekweremadu, among other dignitaries who stormed the sprawling town of Aiyetoro in honour of Melaye.
Saraki, who is presently facing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission investigation bordering on looted funds during his tenure as governor of Kwara State, shrugged off the crisis hanging on his neck and enjoyed himself to the fullest.
The former senator, who was full of life, wined and danced to the melodious songs of Yinka Ayefele during the reception party which was held after the interment of the deceased.
