Having to deal with pimples can be annoying. You would probably want to try everything in your power to get rid of them. This feeling is normal but at the same time, it is best to know what you should not apply on your blackhead in order not to aggravate it.
1. Avoid touching your face
While it is tempting to pop your pimples, remember that touching them will only spread bacteria to the unaffected area, causing more damage and leaving you with spots.
2. Avoid applying toothpaste
Applying toothpaste on pimples can cause skin irritation, dermatitis, itchy rash and so on. Note, not all oil is good for treating pimples. Some can cause skin breakage and skin allergies.
3. Avoid buying products online
Buying a product online because you have read people's positive testimonies about it does not mean it is good.
Most of this online products can't be used blindly. Because some people used it and it worked for them does not mean it will work for you. It might be harsh for your skin and this will leave you with serious acne or skin irritation.
4. Don't apply garlic
Although garlic is good for the skin, it should not be applied on your face directly. Garlic, cinnamon and lemon can cause skin irritation, redness, blisters and skin burns.
5. Don't apply baking soda
Applying baking soda on your pimple may cause more complications, as soda can hinder it from getting dry on time.
6. Stay away from alcohol-based products
This product might help you dry up your pimples, but it will also cause skin damage. The chemical in it can damage the upper layer of your skin, leaving you with spots.
