Cameroon legend, Samuel Eto'o has tipped Eden Hazard to do big things in the Spanish La Liga and expects him to win the Ballon d'Or someday.
The four-time African Footballer of the Year rates the Belgian forward at almost the same level as Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi.
Hazard moved to Madrid this summer from Chelsea as one of the new additions to the Galacticos in a deal worth £88 million.
Messi is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers in history have scooped numerous individual awards, including five Ballon d'Or title.
Hazard, although a brilliant footballer, he is yet to win the award and that could possibly change with him moving to the Spanish capital.
"Hazard has to win the Ballon d'Or," the former Barcelona striker told Radio MARCA and El Partidazo of COPE.
"He hasn't been valued enough but now he's at one of the best teams in the world all eyes will be on him.
"He's close to Messi's level and I hope that he plays Barcelona when he's not at 100 percent."
The La Liga champions have been linked with a move for Neymar, with the Brazil star looking to force a move away from PSG.
Eto'o gave his opinion on the speculations during the interview: "If he returns home, it'll be good for the project and the future."
