The Insurance top shot, Elizabeth Ndubuisi-Chukwu, who was murdered in South Africa has been buried in Anambra State.
Elizabeth Obianuju Ndubuisi-Chukwu, Deputy Director of the Chattered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, has been buried at her country home in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Her remains were committed to mother earth on Friday amidst uncontrollable tears and sorrow among families and friends.
Ndubuisi was in South Africa for a conference before her lifeless body was found in her hotel room.
Autopsy carried out by the Nigerian embassy indicated that she was strangled to death but the CCTV of the hotel is yet to confirm the autopsy report.
The burial proceedings began with a service at St. Silas Anglican Cathedral, Ihiala.
The Bishop of the Diocese, Rt. Rev. Israel Okoye, while officiating the burial service, described the deceased as a devout Christian. He then urged other Christians to be upright in their dealings and religion.
