Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, has redeemed his promise of $25,000 to the Super Eagles for the lone goal which was scored against Algeria in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The business mogul had promised to give the Super Eagles $25,000 for every goal they scored against the Foxes.

Nigeria only managed a goal in the game as they suffered a 2-1 loss to the North Africans who eventually won the tournament, with Nigeria coming third.

And now, two weeks after the tournament, Otedola has fulfilled that promise.

"Business mogul Femi Otedola has fulfilled his pledge of $25,000 to the @NGSuperEagles for their one goal against Algeria in AFCON 2019 semi final," the official handle of the NFF wrote along with a picture of Otedola, Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo and team officials.
