MFM FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu is set to end his long-time association with the club according to reports making the rounds.
Ilechukwu who has been coach of the Olukoya boys for 13 years is rumoured to have mutually agreed a departure with the Church club.
Speculations are that the coach who led MFM to their first ever continental appearance is leaving to take up a bigger role with Eastern based NPFL side, Heartland FC of Owerri.
"Finally! Fidelis Ilechukwu will leave MFM FC of Lagos after over decade of working with the Church club. Heartland FC the next destination for the 'Working One.' He's heading to the East!" NPFL expert, Tobi Adepoju revealed on Twitter on Friday morning.
The 41-year-old who is also the assistant coach of the National U-23 team narrowlly missed out on a place in the Super 6 play-off last season finishing just one behind eventual league champions, Enyimba.
