The Kogi State Deputy Governor, Simon Achuba, has called the attention of the police to the threat to his life by the Governor of the state, Yahaya Bello.
Simon Achuba, the Kogi State Deputy Governor, has revealed to the police that his principal, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has threatened his life.
The Deputy Governor, while speaking with the police on Thursday, insisted that the governor has some bandits after his life. He further pleaded with the Inspector General of Police and other security apparatus to save him from Bello’s threats.
“I want the police, SSS, IGP to know that if anything should happen to me, my family and aides, the governor should be held responsible,” he said
Achuba made this statement at his residence in Lokoja, Kogi State.
He added that President Muhammadu Buhari should beam his searchlight more on the state.
