Romelu Lukaku has officially joined Inter Milan from Manchester United in a deal reportedly worth €80 million.

The Belgian has put an end to a rough summer for him and linked up with Antonio Conte, a man he once tagged the 'best coach in the world'.

Lukaku had lost his place in United's starting line-up under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Norwegian preferring both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in attack.

But he is set to be the arrowhead of Conte's new-look Inter Milan as they hope to ruffle Juventus and win a first Serie A title in almost a decade.

"Inter were the only club I wanted because Inter is Not For Everyone. I’m here to bring the Nerazzurri back to the top," Lukaku told the club's website in his first interview.

The Belgian all-time top scorer who scored 42 times in 96 appearances for the Red Devils becomes only the fourth player in history to have been transferred for a fee of more than £50 million twice in his career.

Lukaku's arrival should spell the end of Mauro Icardi’s career at Inter with the Argentine having already been told by Conte that he isn't in his plans.
