Governor Of Rivers State Declares Notorious Criminal, Bobrisky, Wanted

A furious Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has placed a N30 million bounty on one of the most notorious criminals in the state, popularly known as Bobrisky, who has been a major terror to the indigenes of Gokana Local Government Area (LGA), Rivers State.

Wike added that the 'N30million bounty' also applies to any witness with useful information on the identity or whereabouts of the killers of a Rivers State Government director during the Choba crisis earlier last month.

The governor also banned all youth groups in Rivers State, lamenting that they have all been hijacked by cultists and used for mainly criminal activities and they practise cultism in the disguise of youth groups. The affected youth groups include: Bonny Youth Assembly (BYA), Ikwerre Youth Movement (IYM), Ogoni Youth Movement (OYM), and Ekpeye Youth Federation (EYF), among many others.

These decisions made by the governor was announced on Thursday at the Government House, Port Harcourt, where Wike handed over 40 patrol vans fitted with communication gadgets to the C4I, Police Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Police Anti-Cultism Unit, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS).
