Senator Ibukunle Amosun, the immediate past Governor of Ogun State, was absent from this year’s Ojude Oba Festival which held on Tuesday in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
His absence, according to informed sources, was a result of the raging feud between him and the present governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Governor Dapo, APC Chieftain, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, and billionaire businessman, Sir Kessington Adebutu, who was special guest of honour at this year’s occasion, were present at the festival.
This year’s edition of the festival also featured a raffle draw courtesy of the major sponsor, Globacom. Many lucky attendees went home with various prizes, including tricycles and television sets.
Popular Fuji musician, Abass Akande Obesere, and pop sensation, Lil’ Kesh, thrilled the audience to beautiful performances.
