1. Use tea bags to get rid of puffy eyes
Soak two tea bags of green or black tea in hot water for less than a minute, remove the teabags from the water, put them in a small bowl and leave to chill for a while in your refrigerator. Once they are cool enough, place one bag over each eyelid with your eyes closed. Leave them on for 5-20 minutes before taking them off. This can be a morning routine to get rid of puffy eyes. Cucumber can also be used to eliminate puffy eyes and eye bags. Simply slice the cucumber into round slices and place over your eyes for a few minutes to achieve this.
2. Get kissable and brighter lips and skin with raspberries
To get bright lips, heat a tablespoon of coconut oil until it melts totally, remove it from the heat and add fresh or frozen raspberries to it. Mash the berries into it and blend the mixture until it is totally smooth. Put the mixture into a small glass container and refrigerate it until it is firm. Then use a clean finger or a lip gloss brush to smoothen it over your lips. Once the mixture finishes, make a fresh one through the same process until you get brighter lips. For the skin, you can create a natural antioxidant rich oil blend to be used to hydrate your skin and also add that extra glow to it. Mix promaganate seed oil, raspberry seed oil and sweet almond oil together, place 3 to 6 drops of this mixture in your palm, rub your hands together, then with your fingertips, gently press the oil into the dry areas of your face or wherever you have wrinkles and fine lines.
3. Hydrate your skin with coconut water
You can also use pure coconut water to hydrate your skin. Drink a glass of fresh coconut water every morning. Then, for the rest of the day, drink filtered clean water. For your meals include skin-hydrating foods in your diet like wild salmon, avocado, olives and the coconut fruit itself.
4. Hydrate your lips with shea butter
Hydrate your lips naturally, using ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil. Mix all these together in a container and rub on your lips every day as a natural lip salve or lip balm.
5. Get rid of acne by cutting sugar out
Sugar is the number one cause of skin acne, dry itchy skin and wrinkles. Cut sugar out of your diet for about two weeks to a month and see what good it will do to the overall health and maintenance of your skin.
6. Invest in a cleanser for skin rejuvenation
Almond oil and argan oil can serve as natural skin cleansers. They will help to nourish and rejuvenate your skin while also giving it a clean and healthy glow.
7. De-stress to rejuvenate your skin
Stress makes some skin issues worse like rapid skin aging, acne, eczema, vitiligo etc. Sleep. Meditate. Exercise. The sleep will help to rejuvenate your skin while the meditation and exercise will help you to relieve stress. Also hugging or physical contact can also help to relieve stress, as the hormones that trigger happiness are usually triggered during physical contact, which is a major stress reliever.
8. Prevent sunburn, sun damage and uneven skin tone with natural ingredients
Your skin needs to be protected from the sun to maintain its healthy and natural glow and beauty. While the morning sun produces Vitamin D, which is good for the skin, staying under the sun too long can seriously damage your skin and even trigger premature aging, uneven skin tone and some other skin issues. Natural ingredients like chlorella and resveratrol can help to protect the skin from the damaging effects of the sun. Due to its high level of Chlorophyll, Chlorella Vulgaris also known as green Algae extract, helps to shield the skin from UV radiation. It is important to protect the skin from free radical activity which is the root cause of aging disorders. Resveratrol also has antioxidant properties which have a great impact on the skin.
9. Get rid of that skin dullness with some tea
Green tea and white tea have anti-inflammatory, brightening, evening, cleansing and hydrating effects on the skin. Just soak the tea bags for 5 minutes max, allow the tea to cool down to room temperature. Then, pat the tea on your face gently or apply it with cotton pads or cotton wool. You can also pour it into a spray bottle or spray can and spritz it on your skin regularly to tone it.
10. Eat right
It is important to be aware that what we take into our body will definitely reflect on our skin. Garbage in, garbage out. Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients for quick skin repair and turnover. Zinc, Vitamin A and Vitamin C are some important nutrients that can be gotten from eating the right foods and having the right diet. They can serve as a form of supplement to help ensure that your skin is always healthy and at its best. This is especially effective for skin issues like acne, eczema and premature aging. It is also essential that you drink a lot of clean water, as water is good for clear and healthy skin.
11. Use Aloe Vera to get rid of skin irritation
Aloe Vera gel has anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It can also easily penetrate the skin to provide nourishment to it. Most Aloe Vera products in stores have been processed and contain preservatives and artificial ingredients. You can always look for the pure and natural aloe plant in the market or even plant yours at home. Then extract the gel and store it to be used to soothe your irritated skin and also take care of other skin issues.
12. Use tea tree oil to get rid of pimples
Tea tree oil is known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to reduce acne breakouts. Try to get the diluted tree oil because the concentrated one can burn and irritate the skin when applied directly. Just mix it with your cleanser or moisturizer and apply 2 - 3 times daily.
13. Use yoghurt, honey, and turmeric for a smooth complexion
Mix 1 tablespoon of plain yoghurt, 1 tablespoon of raw honey and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder into a paste. Apply the mixture to your face and neck and leave it for about 10 - 15 minutes. Then wash it off with cool, clean water, pat your skin dry and apply your serum and moisturizer.
14. Make natural face masks with fruits
You can make a natural face mask with papaya fruit. It contains a natural enzyme known as papain which is an enzymatic exfoliant. Greener and unripe papayas contain more papain for effectiveness, but if you have sensitive skin, it will be better for you to use ripened papayas, as they will be less acidic and concentrated. Just mash or blend the papaya flesh with some pieces of fresh pineapple until smooth. Apply to dry skin and leave on for 5 - 15 minutes, then rinse it off with cool clean water. Do this once or twice a week. You can also make another natural face mask by mixing oat flour, unsweetened yoghurt and avocado thoroughly. Then apply enough to cover your clean dry face. Leave it on your face for 10 - 20 minutes. Then remove the mask with a warm, wet cloth, rinse your face with clean water and pat dry. Mashed pure avocado fruit can also be used as an organic face mask without any additions. Use these face masks once a day for effective results.
15. Get rid of skin creases with silk
Choose a soft and silky material for your pillow case to avoid those extra lines on your face in the morning. Also try sleeping on your back so you don't get fine lines in the morning from sleeping on your face.
Try and get some or most of these items in their natural form for effective results as the processed ones contain chemicals which can slow down their effectiveness.
