Abductors Give 5 Days Ultimatum To Family Of Kidnapped Kaduna Pastor

News of the killing of Jeremiah Omolewa, a pastor of Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel, in Angwan Romi community, Kaduna, and the abduction of his wife recently hit the media.

Now, barely two weeks after that incident, another pastor, identified as Elisha Noma of the Baptist Church, Angwan Makiri, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the state.

According to reports, the pastor was kidnapped near Udawa, Chikun Local Government Area of the state. About 20 armed kidnappers stormed the village around 1:30 am on Wednesday and forced their way into the pastor’s house, taking him and his son to an unknown location

The kidnappers were said to have freed the son, Emmanuel Elisha, later that day. He who was threatened and given stern instructions to raise an unspecified amount of money as ransom.

After warning Emmanuel not to involve the police, the kidnappers gave him a 5-day ultimatum to raise the money for ransom or his father would be killed.
