We all upset one another once in a while, whether intentionally or not. Sometimes, we might not need to say the words “I am sorry” because it might not be enough. There are other non-verbal ways to apologise that will pass the message across.
1. Write a letter
Handwriting a letter of apology is a great way to apologise and be pardoned, because your recipient will understand how much effort you made to pick up your stationery, think about what to write and write it neatly by hand.
2. Do them a favour
You can apologise to someone you have wronged by doing him or her a favour which would make the person forgive you.
3. Take them out to dinner
You can sacrifice both your time and money to say sorry by taking the person you have offended out to dinner. You can take them to their favourite place and allow them pick what they like.
4. Do their chores
You can show someone you live with that you are sorry by doing their chores for them. Let them come home to find their chores neatly done.
5. Compose a poem
Show that you are sorry by composing a poem for the person you have wronged and drop it where they can see and read it.
