Ghanaian footballer, Kingsley Sarfo, has been released from prison after serving time in Swedish jail for having sex with an underage girl.
Sarfo had pleaded not guilty to the statutory rape charges against him, claiming he didn't know the girl was underage.
But that didn't stop a Swedish judge from sentencing him to two years and eight months in prison and deportation on his release.
The 24-year-old who was also fined 150,000 SEK(over 15 thousand dollars) has, however, been was released this week on the ground of good conduct after spending over a year behind bars.
The former Malmo FF midfielder has been deported to his home country after being released from Swedish Prison.
Karfo became the second Ghanian football player to bag jail time in sweden after Kwame Bonsu when he was sentenced in 2018.
