Buhari returns to Abuja after spending nine days in his home in Katsina State.
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday, landed in Abuja after spending nine days in his home in Katsina to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir with his family members.
Shortly before leaving the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport, Katsina, for Abuja, Buhari had urged the military to be more battle ready in restoring peace to the country, particularly states troubled by bandits.
Among the military hierarchy Buhari addressed were 15 officers, 160 soldiers of the 17th Army Brigade and Nigerian Air Force 213 Operational Base in Katsina under the Operation Hadarin Daji, at the Airport in Katsina.
During his break to his home town, the president hosted Guinean President, Prof. Alpha Conde, who performed the Eid prayers with him last Sunday.
Conde, who was given a grand reception by Daura community, was also conferred with a traditional title by Emir of Daura, Dr. Faruk Umar Faruk.
