Lagos State Chief Judge, Justice Kazeem Olanrewaju Alogba, has been confirmed the head of the state judiciary.

Alogba, on Tuesday, was confirmed by the Lagos State House of Assembly a few months after being appointed by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Lagos Speaker, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, during the formal inauguration, said that Justice Alogba had proven to be capable of the office, noting that it was a mere formality for his appearance before Lagos lawmakers for confirmation.

He was subsequently confirmed by the house as the Chief Judge of the state through a voice vote supervised by the Speaker.

Born in 1960, Alogba attended Holy Trinity Primary School and spent four years in the school before proceeding to Ikorodu High School.

He later proceeded to Baptist Academy for advanced levels and then went to the University of Lagos, where he read law and graduated in 1981.

Alogba commenced working at the Federal Ministry of Justice in 1982 before he left for private service and worked in law firms as a lawyer before joining the service of the Lagos State Government as a judge.
