Notorious cross-border kidnapper, Chika John Nnodim, has been arrested.
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has arrested a kidnapper, identified as Chika John Nnodim.
His arrest was as a result of his kidnap of three Ghanaian girls before trafficking them from Ghana to Nigeria.
The suspect, who was on Saturday handed over to the office of the Inspector General of Police, has allegedly been involved in several criminal cases before he was arrested by the agency.
Apart from Nnodim, the prime suspect, two other Nigerians, including John Oji and Samuel Udoetuk Wills, were involved in the kidnapping of the three Ghanaian girls aged between 15 and 21.
The case has been transferred to the Inspector General of Police for further investigation, as findings suggest that the case is not only human trafficking related but of murder and kidnap.
