Fayemi to give Alofe a state burial.
Evangelist Adeola Alofe, the former Secretary to Ekiti State Government, is dead.
Alofe, 86, who was a native of Aiyetoro-Ekiti, died on Sunday after a brief illness.
He worked with the immediate past governor of the state, Ayodele Fayose, during his time as SSG from 2003 till 2005 before he was replaced with Chief Bade Gboyega who is also late now.
Before his appointment, he was a member of the Green Chamber (House of Reps) between 1991 and 1993 in the old Ondo State under the umbrella of the defunct Social Democratic Party.
Alofe also worked with Governor Kayode Fayemi as Senior Special Assistant on Religious Matters till 2010.
After his last appointment, he left the political scene until his death was announced on Sunday.
Preparations are said to be underway to give him a state burial.
