The Federal Government is set to close the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway for construction on Monday, September 2.
The closure of some parts of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway will begin on Monday, September 2, 2019.
The diversion, according to Funsho Adebiyi, Director, Federal Highways, Southwest, would commence between Kara Bridge and Berger bus terminal.
Adebiyi, in his appeal, urged the road users especially motorists to comply with the diversion and traffic rules.
The director, who led the delegation of Federal Ministry of Works and Housing to the inspection of the road on Thursday, noted that major lanes had been rehabilitated to curb gridlock and construction on the section of the road which begins on Monday.
