Apart from holding an enviable position, he is among the three favoured sons of Tinubu, including Folorunsho Folarin Coker, the DG of Nigerian Tourism Development Commission and Oba Saheed Elegushi.
The three young men have been with Tinubu since his days as governor of Lagos State, till now with their dedication, hard work and loyalty to their benefactor.
With the support of Tinubu, Okunola climbed the success ladder, becoming the man in charge of the state land use and allocation committee as Executive Secretary.
He held the position for six years until Ambode relegated him to the ministry of Youth and Social Development as Permanent Secretary.
With the influence of his godfather, he was redeployed as the head of service to the state during the tail end administration of Akinwunmi Ambode
