Nigerians in South Africa  fight back with protest.

Nigerians in South Africa, on Monday, staged a peaceful protest to express their displeasure over continuous attacks by South Africans

During the protest at the premises of the Nigerian Embassy in South Africa, Nigerians accused the authority of not doing enough to protect their citizens in the country.

An official of the embassy, who spoke on the incessant attacks on Nigerians, said the recent attacks were a result of fake news spread by the local media.

According to the Nigerian official, who craved anonymity, a lot of Nigerian businesses were destroyed in a recent mob attack before Nigerians made the decision to protest.

You will recall that last week, President Muhammadu Buhari and his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, met at a summit in Japan and they both agreed to meet in October to deliberate on the issue
