COZA: Ashimolowo Listed As Busola’s Witness In Rape Case Against Fatoyinbo

The Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, has reportedly been listed as a witness in Busola Dakolo rape case against pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

According to reports, the renowned pastor might be subpoenaed by an FCT High Court after he was named as one of the witnesses Busola Dakolo intends to use in establishing her case in the suit against the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

The wife of inspirational singer, Timi Dakolo, in July, accused the pastor of defiling her twice while she was still a teenager in a detailed interview with lawyer and journalist, Chude Jideonwo.

And mouths after the video went viral, she has filed a suit against the man who was her former spiritual leader.

In a writ of summons which was exclusively obtained by Channels TV, the FCT High Court ordered the accused to appear before it within 14 days of the service or judgment may be given in his absence.

Part of the document read: “You are hereby commanded that within fourteen (14) days after the service of this writ on you, inclusive of the day of such service you do cause an appearance to be entered for you, in an action of Mrs . Busola Dakolo.

“And take notice that in default, the claimant may proceed, and judgment may be given in your absence.”

It is understood that Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, was naned on the list of witnesses that might need to appear in court if the case goes to trial.
