Two special envoys from South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, met President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday to apologize following xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in the country.

Over 200 foreign nationals, including Nigerians, have lost their lives and properties in the wake of xenophobic attacks in the former apartheid nation.

Two special envoys, during the closed door meeting with the president, delivered President Ramaphosa‘s message to Buhari in Aso Rock and discussed extensively on how to curb the menace.

One of the special envoys, Jeff Radebe, while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the meeting, said the situation was under control between the two countries to maintain peace and unity in the interest of the continent.
