Popular Warri born comedian, Akpobome Ogude, a.k.a Ogus Baba, is known for his show which he headlines annually, “Ogus Baba Laugh Goes On.”

The comedian shared his story of how he survived leaving in a dilapidated building with "carton" roof for two years before leaving for greener pastures in Lagos.

Ogus stepped into the spotlight when he performed at actor Richard Mofe Damijo's live show, tagged "Made in Warri", after which the actor became his mentor and supported his growth in the comedy industry.

Ogus has taken to Instagram to share his story and inspire people going through hard times in life.

How can ogus baba forget this house? This was the first rent I paid, a local warri boy on a mission to survive, I stayed in this house for 2years in Enugu, a roof made with carton, foundation made with wood, the room was so small you cant stretch, the toilet no go area, but staying in this house not just as a student but also as a comedian. It was very inspiring because I know it was just a temporary room, and God made me to pass through this house so I can tell my story and appreciate today. LORD IS GIVE U ALL THE GLORY #Godovereverything localwarriboy

Friends and well-wishers, including celebrities, have flooded his page to send congratulatory messages to the comedian.
