Just when the final six housemates were celebrating their victory, Big Brother showed up with another twist.
There have been questions surrounding the grand finale of the reality series. Many have asked if the organisers would break the norm this season.
Big Brother has now answered the questions of the viewers by pulling the last and most emotional eviction of all time.
Big Brother had told Frodd, the housemate with the ultimate veto power, that he would have to nominate housemates again after doing that last week.
Unknown to Frodd, having the privileg of the ultimate veto power which earned him a spot in the finals also meant that he had the task to evict the last housemate before the grand finale.
The housemates were required to submit all bet Naija coins and hold onto the gold coins given to them by Big Brother.
Big Brother announced that Seyi was saved by virtue of being the Head of House, Mike was saved by the public on Sunday, Mercy was saved because she bought immunity, Frodd with the ultimate veto power was automatically in the finals. This left Omashola and Diane unguarded.
Big brother required them to write on their gold coins and submit to Frodd who then put the coins in a black bag.
Frodd was given the task to pick a coin belonging to either Diane or Omashola.
He picked Diane’s gold Bet9ja coin in the final ultimate veto power game and Big Brother gave her 10 seconds to leave the house.
Mercy burst into tears. Frodd was also shocked and started crying, as he didn't want Diane to leave.
Diane could not hold back her tears and Omashola could not help but scream his usual words of ‘Warri’ victory.
