Nigerian human rights activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, has classed the country's youths as the most hopeless in the world.
In a post where he apologized to President Muhammadu Buhari for attacking him when he made the utterance that the youths in the country were lazy, Adeyanju also stated that there was no future for them.
"I want to apologize to President Buhari today for attacking him when he said Nigerian youths are lazy. Nigerian youths are not only lazy, they are the most hopeless youths in the world. They have no future and there’s no hope for them," he wrote on his Twitter page.
The convener of the Concerned Nigeria Movement re-echoed the words of Buhari, who had in April 2018, stated that the youths of the West African country were lazy during a Commonwealth Business Forum.
Buhari had faced huge backlash on social media after that comment in Westminster and Adeyanju was one of the youths who bashed him at that time, but he seems to have seen reason with the president now.
