Enyimba forward, Stephen Chukwude, has allegedly been harassed by officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
The striker, who was a victim of police harassment just over a month ago, took to his Twitter page to report his latest ordeal with the security operatives in Aba.
On August 26, Chukwude was stopped by some police officers on the highway, but despite identifying himself as a professional footballer, the officer insisted that he follow them to their station because they suspected that he was a Yahoo boy.
Chukwude reported the incident to the official handle of the Nigerian police on Twitter and was assured that an investigation would be carried out and the officers brought to book but that justice never came.
Now, just one month and five days after that incident, the young man has suffered even worse oppression from another set of policemen.
According to the 24-year-old, he was beaten and made to lie down on the ground and under the sun. He was only freed after they collected bribe.
