Lady Narrates Experience Of A Man Frustrated By The Nigerian Police To Inspire Others

A social media user has shared a touching experience of herself and a stranger she found crying outside a police station.

The lady explained that she was on her way to the market around the Oshodi axis of Lagos to get some household items when she saw a man crying just outside a police station.

As she battled with her emotions, torn between minding her business or going to the stranger to comfort him, the bike man who carried her shouted at the man to "Man up and stop crying."

That was it for her. She quickly told the bike man to stop, paid him and bade him farewell. She then proceeded to comfort the stranger crying profusely.

According to her, she hugged him and cried with him. A third man in a jeep came to join them and inquired what the problem was. The man narrated that his bike was seized by the Nigerian police for refusing to "settle" them.

He explained that his wife was late, one of his two sons was critically ill and he needed to raise money for his treatment. This was the reason for his inability to pay the police officers.

The bike man explained further that he would pay the officers, but needed his bike to look for the money for his son's treatment first.

The man in the jeep gave the bike man some money to take care of his troubles and release his bike, while the caring lady proceeded with him to take his son to the hospital for treatment
