Things keep getting worse on the injury front for Gernot Rohr as another key member of his team has pulled out of the game against Brazil.

Ola Aina is the latest Super Eagles player to be ruled out of the international friendly in Singapore against the Selecao.

The Torino full-back was involved in a domestic accident, resulting in an injury that has ticked him off for the much-anticipated game.

The news of Aina's injury was made public by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) in a post on their official Twitter page.

"Just in: Torino of Italy wing-back Ola Aina is out of Sunday's international friendly against Brazil. He picked up an injury after a domestic accident and will not be available," a tweet by the NFF read.

Injury to the 22-year-old means he is the third Super Eagles star to withdraw from the game due to injury after Kenneth Omeruo and Samuel Kalu were replaced by Tyronne Ebuehi and Viv Efosa Solomon-Otabor.

Aina has been one of the standout performers for the three-time African champions in recent times and was expected to start at right-back against the Samba boys.

His absence, however, would create space for other full-backs, including Tyronne Ebuehi and Abdullahi Shehu, who are returning to the team after injury.

The duo would have to fight for that slot with Chidozie Awaziem who played some games in that position at the Africa Nations Cup.
