Suswan, Akume reconcile.
Two former Benue State governors, Gabriel Suswan and Senator George Akume, have settled their long term rift.
The two estranged political friends were on Thursday spotted hugging each other and posing with a handshake at the budget defence committee in Abuja.
Suswan was said to have walked up to Akume, the Minister of Special Duties, who was also at the meeting of his ministry and exchanged pleasantries with him.
To show mischief-makers that all was well between them, they took photographs, indicating that they had renewed their friendship.
The move by Suswan to reunite with Akume is part of his plans to ensure soft landing in the ruling party when he eventually deflects from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
