Leicester City and Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has lost his personal assistant to an auto crash in Nigeria.
The 22-year-old took to his Instagram page to mourn the death of the young man, David Nwachukwu, who was a close friend.
According to reports, Nwachukwu lost his life in a ghastly road crash in Owerri, Imo State, on Saturday, October 26.
Nwachukwu, who was a childhood friend of Iheanacho and managed the football star's property in Nigeria, crashed his Pathfinder SUV near Alvana Modern Secondary school along Owerri-Onitsha Expressway, Imo State capital, while driving alone.
According to sources, David who hailed from Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State died on the spot after bumping into a stationary articulated vehicle.
Mourning his friend, Iheanacho uploaded a photo of a lit candle with crying emojis on Instagram in tribute and another on his stories with the caption "Can't still believe it."
