Senegal retained the title they won in 2018 after defeating their opponents at this year's tournament.

The Lions of Teranga, who had already bagged the title earlier, defeated England 3-2 in their final game of the event to complete a hat-trick of wins.

The Senegalese beach soccer team had narrowly defeated world champions, Brazil 5-4, in their opening game on Friday before following it up with a more convincing 5-2 win against Nigeria the following day.

In the final game of the 2019 edition of the Copa Lagos, Nigeria beat Brazil 7-5 to finish second on the standings.
