Having battled hard for a 1-1 draw away from home in their first game against Sierra Leone, Lesotho will be looking to cause an upset against the Nigerian team that won their opening game against Benin Republic on Wednesday.

The Crocodiles will host the Super Eagles at the Setsoto Stadium, in Maseru, in the second round of the qualifying games for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen and Joe Aribo have been identified by Lesotho coach, Thabo Senong, as the two danger men of the Nigerian team ahead of their clash on Sunday.

Senong believes his side must find a way to neutralize the threats of the duo if they are to get anything from the game.

“Nigeria have very physical and skillful players,” Senong told Sport Access.

“Osimhen and Aribo have done well at their clubs. Everyone knows they are very dangerous. We have to put an eye on them.”

Osimhen was on target for Nigeria in Wednesday's win, scoring on the spot on the stroke of half time to restore parity after Stephane Sessegnon's early scare.

Joe Aribo, on his part, made his competitive debut for Nigeria, having featured and scored in two friendlies against Ukraine and Brazil in September and October.

After the first rounds of games, the Super Eagles top Group L with three points while Lesotho is in second place with one point.
