MFM FC snatched another draw in the Nigerian Professional Football League match week four game against Warri Wolves at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.

A late goal by Adeniji Kabir Adewole cancelled out Moses Omoduemuke's 59th-minute strike to give both teams a deserved point.

The Olukoya Boys started the game brightly and had a few chances to get in the lead but the forward guys were profligate in front of the goal.

Those missed chances almost proved costly when the visitors took the lead early in the second half.

From a dead ball situation in the 59th minute, Moses Omoduemuke bent a free-kick over the wall and into the back of the net, silencing the small crowd that came out to cheer the home side.

From that point, the face of the game changed as Warri Wolves looked to defend their lead in a bid to register their first away win of the season.

It looked like that was going to be the case as they defended everything MFM threw at them doggedly but their resolve was eventually broken deep into additional time.

MFM's Alade Balogun who came off the bench some minutes earlier, tussled for the ball with a defender and showed more hunger, his cross into the box was parried by Warri Wolves keeper but it fell into the path of Adeniji who slotted into an empty net.

The stadium erupted with joy as the home fans regained their voices while the few away fans at the venue buried their heads in their arms.

The draw meant both teams remain unbeaten so far this season, with MFM remaining the higher-ranked of the two sides with eight points compared to Wolves’ six.
