Hi Punters! Trust you’re all set for the midweek games. Well, so are we and here are our top four picks for the games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Crystal Palace VS Bournemouth
Roy Hodgson's men got a valuable win on the road against Burnley last Saturday which arrested a run of five matches without a win for the Eagles while the Cherries' 3-2 reverse away to Tottenham means its three defeats on the spin for Eddie Howe’s men. A win for the Londoners at home is our pick even though we expect both to score.
Lyon VS Lille
Lyon have failed to win against Lille in the last five meetings between both teams (D3, L2), all of which saw both teams score but a run of four wins from their last five Ligue 1 (L1) games after a slow start to the season would mean the home side will be confident of picking all three points but we expect Lille to hold them down.
Wolves VS West Ham
On Wednesday, Wolves will be looking to add to their nine games unbeaten run (W4, D5) when they host the Hammers who claimed an impressive win at Chelsea last weekend. The last six games involving Wolves have seen both teams scoring and with Wolves possessing the joint-highest amount of draws at home this season, it looks like those could be the best bet.
Paris Saint-Germain VS Nantes
The French Ligue 1 leaders are obvious favourites to get a home win against the Canaries and extend their lead at the top. The Parisians have only lost two of their last 51 home matches in Ligue 1 and within that sequence, they have kept a clean sheet in each of their last seven home wins. They also score goals, especially at home, averaging 2.57 goals at the Parc Des Princes this season.
