Funny Face Responds To Backlash Over Performance For Children

Pearl Emmanuel

Ghanaian comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, famously known as Funny Face, recently posted a video on IGTV addressing the backlash he has faced for a performance he made for children.

The Ghanaian comedian stated how disappointed he was to see some comments he thought did not make sense.

Critics contended that Funny Face performed for kids like he was being paid millions of Ghana cedis for such a performance.

He started off by saying that he works for passion and nothing less. He added that this was his motivation when he had nothing and it will continue to be even now that he is wealthy.

He used the opportunity to flaunt his four cars, although the issue he was addressing had nothing to do with the cars. Perhaps he was giving people something to talk about.

It is speculated that the comedian made his breakthrough at the "Night of a Thousand Laughs" which held in 2010.
