According to NFF’s General Secretary, Sanusi Mohammed, the hunt for substantive coaches has commenced and advertisements for the vacant positions will soon be out.
Nigeria's senior women national team, the Super Falcons, is without a substantive coach after Thomas Dennerby left, while the fate of the male U-23 team and the male and female U-20 and U-17 handlers are uncertain after failing in their respective assignments.
"All those positions where the coach's contracts have come to an end will be advertised," Sanusi said in an interview with Nigeria Info FM, Abuja.
"As a matter of fact, the advertisement process is on the way and we have employed the services of a private firm that will conduct the screening and interview."
Meanwhile, Sanusi refused to disclose if the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr's contract will be renewed, stating that the decision will be made by NFF's technical committee members.
"The issue of appointment and sacking of coaches is the responsibility of the technical department and also the technical committee.
"If you want to know whether the Super Eagles coach will be sacked or not, you should ask the technical department or the technical committee," he concluded.
