Arsenal's teenage star, Bukayo Saka, says he is still weighing his international options but will not rush his decision.

The 18-year-old, who is eligible to play for both Nigeria and England, in an interview with ‘BBC Sports’ revealed that he is yet to decide on which country to pledge his international allegiance to.

"I am always thinking about it but I haven't made a decision yet," the Arsenal academy graduate said.

Although neither England nor Nigeria has so far approached him about his senior international future, the talented youngster who is having a breakthrough season is already thinking about it.

"No-one has been in touch but when I make a decision you will find out," he said.

Saka was given his first taste of senior football by former coach, Unai Emery, last season, making his Premier League debut at the age of 17. He made history when he became the first footballer born in 2001 to play in the Premier League.

The London-born star paid tribute to the Spaniard who was fired last month by the Gunners after a poor run of results.

"I have a lot of thanks to give him because he gave me so much confidence, he gave me my debut and he kept pushing me. I am grateful to him always,” he maintained.

"It's just something I have always dreamed of, coming up from the academy to the first team."

Arteta was appointed as the new boss at the Emirates last week and Saka is hoping to have a good time under the new gaffer.

"I have heard positive things about him and I am looking forward to working with him," Saka stated.
