Talented Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, recently responded to a tweet made by a young aspiring actor, identified as Uche Valentine.
"My brother, the politics being played under Nollywood and this country is so bad that it's now a Tradition. Am a victim of the politics played under nollywood industry. Do you know how many times I have been dropped from a lot of productions because I don't have a sponsor (money)?"
Responding to this tweet, Edochie admitted to being dropped from movie roles because of his father's name and advised the Twitter user not to give up, adding that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
“Politics is played in every country and in every industry, not only Nollywood. Ask people in other fields. In my early days I was dropped many times too because of my father's name, it made many envious. But I never gave up,” the actor tweeted.
