American rapper, Cardi B, has asked her followers to vote for a Nigerian name to adopt permanently as she continues to tease her fans with talks of moving to Nigeria.
The Grammy award winner, who visited Nigeria weeks ago, revealed that she was going to file for Nigerian citizenship following the US airstrike which resulted in the death of the general, Qasem Soleimani, and other top Iranian military officers.
In her reaction to the attack which occurred last Friday, she wrote “Specially being from New York. It’s sad this man (Trump) is putting Americans’ lives in danger. Dumbest move Trump did till date (sic) … I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.”
Hours later, her tweet went viral, she followed it with another one stating that she would be “picking her tribe.”
Three days after these posts, the American star has shared another tweet asking for the involvement of her fans as she is yet to settle for one of the two Nigerian names that have been suggested by her followers.
On Monday evening, she put out the names "CHIOMA B Or Cadijat" and asked her fans to decide the one she should stick with ahead of her 'relocation' move.
Cardi B had earlier shared a photo of her man, Offset, dressed in native Yoruba attire with the caption: "Convince him to move with me."
