Nigerian international, Oghenekaro Etebo, has completed a loan move to Spanish La Liga outfit, Getafe, from Stoke City.
The Super Eagles midfielder has joined Los Azulones until the end of the current campaign, with the Madrid-based club also having the option to sign him permanently.
Etebo comes in as a replacement for Markel Bergara who announced to the club his desire to retire due to the multitude of injuries he has suffered in recent times.
The 24-year-old returns to the Spanish top-flight two years after he left to join Stoke City. Etebo previously played in La Liga, representing Las Palmas 14 times.
He had joined on loan from Portuguese side, Feirense, in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign, although he was unable to prevent them from being relegated.
Etebo subsequently joined Stoke in the summer of 2018 for €7.2m after representing Nigeria at the World Cup.
The midfielder, however, started only 8 games for the Potters this season and has not played a single minute for the first team since returning from injury about two months ago.
