Suspected Port Harcourt serial killer, Gracious David West, has reportedly identified seven of the 19 people he allegedly killed.
West was dragged across different mortuaries in the state where he identified the bodies of people he killed while on the prowl before being arrested.
At his trial on Friday, January 10, the IPO Sergeant, Ogbomudia Timi Engbokuru, presented a statement in court that the suspect affirmed was his.
West admitted to having made the statement at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad Office, Police Headquarters, and Elekahia Police Station.
The suspected serial killer was arrested on September 19, 2019, and he took the police to all the hotel rooms where he killed the women the following day.
The bodies of the alleged victims were found with a white cloth wrapped around their necks and waists after they had been killed.
The trial before Justice Adolphus Enebeli and Justice Mark Chukwu is expected to continue at a later date.
