Dutch Eredivisie giants, Feyenoord Rotterdam, have signed young Nigerian left-back, Hakeem Agboluaje, to the club's academy.
The skilful Nigerian joins the 1970 European champions from Dutch academy, Alphense Boys, after impressing the club's scouts who have been watching him for months.
Hakeem was unveiled as a Feyenoord player after undergoing a medical. He will feature for the club's under-14 next season.
Prior to his move to Feyenoord, the 12-year-old who was formerly with Ajax was courted by most top professional clubs in the Netherlands.
Hakeem, who is predominantly a left-back but also comfortable playing as a wing-back, has been likened to Bayern Munich's Austria star of Nigerian descent, David Alaba, due to his playing style.
While on vacation last year, Agboluaje who has a famous sibling - Bobby Adekanye - visited Nigeria with his father.
