TV presenter, Shade Ladipo, has explained why she thinks Burna Boy lost out at the 62nd Grammy Awards which held at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, on January 26, 2020.

The media personality shared her opinion on Instagram, where she stated that Nigerian music artistes do not have what it takes to win this prestigious award.

Even though Burna Boy is a great artiste, according to her, it takes more than one album and two years of fame, touring the United States, to win a Grammy award.

Read what she wrote below:

“It’s been a minute but I had to just drop this video real quick

“For the Burna Boy fans who claim he has been cheated, pls know your history, know your music

“Burna is a great artiste but it takes more than 1 Album and 2 years of Faux touring the US to become the standard for World Music

Meanwhile, fans of the Nigerian music artiste are yet to come to terms with the fact that his album 'Giant of Africa' was not good enough to win the World Music Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards.
